Only shortly followed by boo-boo reports, like Des tripping, wiping out, and getting carpet rash on his nose as he was laying out his nap mat
Either way, he’s still smiling 🙂

Des staring at the class fish, Fin, is documented and posted in the care plan. Should we get a fish at home? Mom says no.
Ah, the sheer joys of finding sticks, running around, and hitting things with said sticks. Spring is upon us.
St Patrick’s Day 2016
Four-leaf clover craft project at daycare’s St Patrick’s Day party, preceded by green grapes, kiwi and green jello for snacks. When Ms. Kristen asked Desmond if he wanted to paint, Des enthusiastically shook his head yes and ran over to the cupboard where the paints are stored. Don’t have to ask this kid twice if he wants to get messy 🙂

Every evening at dinner we read the sheet from daycare detailing Des’ day, including various activities and the goals he worked on. Today’s goal: “not eating the sand :)”

Fish fry
Buggy rides at daycare are tiring when you wake up at 4:30am

Sixty degrees on a Friday in February? That can only mean fish fry time at Holy Name, with our friends Eric, Gini, and Ethan.
Ethan found a pine cone and gifted it to Des
Just goofing around
This was Des’ second year at the fish fry, but the first for eating. Basically a plate of fried stuff, so it’s a once-a-season visit.
He also took quickly to dunking french fries in cocktail sauce.
