When mom had to leave the house at 6:30am for an unusually early meeting, dad drew the “(don’t foolishly rely on this again anytime in the near future) lucky card” and got a sleeping Des for 45min while getting ready
And while mom was treating dad to a stellar 34th birthday dinner, followed by a Lagavulin 16 single malt scotch, Des was napping at Ma & Pa’s house
Started out the morning with some scale exercises
Ready to go out and enjoy this warm January day at the zoo. Des is pumped! (and remained so for the first half)
