Ella had a rough night with her cough and woke up with a temperature of 102. So, it was an early morning doctor visit for mom and dad.

Very fortunate to live close to family so Ma was able to watch Des for the morning. Plus, Eleanor was feeling better within a day or two.

Dad’s got this down: holding daughter, supervising play-doh work.

This is not a puzzle for two-year-olds. Confusing puzzle even for dad-year-olds.

Sup?

Up bright and early for breakfast at Dixie Quicks. Clearly need to go more often, as Desmond was confused when dad suggested pancakes with the dinosaurs.

Des wanted to enjoy his pancakes and berries in peace. “No pictures mommy. No pictures.”

The main attraction: model train expo. Several hours of staring at trains, he still hadn’t had enough.

Baby sister finally sleeping, it’s a miracle.

Deep in the throes of the terrible twos, moments of sweetness with this boy.
