Des is quite the observer, but in the event he doesn’t quite get it, he excels at approximation:
The family’s second year at the annual neighborhood festival. Met up with friends after pancakes to watch the parade, catching candy and various swag. Des still isn’t tuned into the whole candy-throwing aspect, maybe that’ll change during the upcoming Labor Day parade.

Mom wasn’t feeling too well this evening, so the boys met grandma at the food hall for dinner. Des’ favorite rice and beans meal, following with the traditional lighting fixture gazing
